Read Their Love Story!

Hello there..!! I hope my entry is submitted on time and considered for review. My name is Juan Carlos and I was just told today about this contest! Thank you for offering such an amazing opportunity. My partner Ivan and I have been together going on 8 years. This March 27th will mark our 8 years anniversary and there is nothing more I would love to do than to ask his hand in marriage. When I met Ivan I was coming out of a dark time in my life. Not only am I disabled and wear hearing aids, but I was also truly trying to get my life together. I meet ivan thru a mutual friend of ours. Immediately we hit it off as not only friends but as soul mates. He was taking care of his grandma of 87 years old part time. We immediately formed a bond that would continue for the next 5 years. After one year of helping him take care of his grandma we saw signs of her Alzheimer's escalating. I immediately suggested we live together so we can take care of her around the clock. Even for a lady with Alzheimer's she would always tell us how special our love was and she thanked God everyday for making us the way we were (gay) otherwise she wouldn't be with us and we would be with our families. She passed away in our arms as we held her for her last breath. It's been two and a half years since and we have grown not only spiritually, but as a couple. I can not stress enough how amazing our love has been and grown and we look excitingly forward to how much more it will grow.
