Read Their Love Story!

Dear Sir or Madame:

 

Jonathan and I met on Match.com around December 2013. Our first date was January 9, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Tandoori Times Indian Bistro in Scottsdale. Not being a foodie all that much, this was definitely out of my comfort zone. He would tell you that I played "hard to get".....Maybe a little bit on my part. I DID go to dinner with him (out of my comfort zone) and he would tell you that I was late (NOT) ;-) I'm NEVER late - that would be him. And I love him for that.

 

He's THE BEST *THING* to ever happen to me. Sometimes life graces you with the presence/relationship of an individual and because of that person, you just want to be a BETTER, more refined version of yourself.

 

I don't know if we qualify because we were married in a quiet ceremony at the local Justice Court on 12/23. Jonathan is my air; I just can't imagine he not being in my life. He would call me a "sap", and that's probably true, but he likes my sappiness, as it were.

 

So we met 1/9/14 in person and we're inseparable. It kills me when he's away as he is right now (funeral). I was once in love, many years ago, with someone who did pass away. Thomas's family kept me from attending his funeral and did other horrible things to me, and although that is NOT okay, it's a history with which I've come to peace. I bless their way from afar; they need that.

 

Being with Jonathan - I think Thomas was the FIRST love of my life; Jonathan is the GREAT love of my life and I thank my lucky stars each and every day for him. He's one of the most remarkable spirits I've ever met. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for Jonathan. We are trying to plan our honeymoon, to Spain, actually as I'm skilled in speaking Spanish - not fluent, but I can communicate quite well. We'd like to go to Spain, or Mr. Sexy has mentioned Costa Rica. He's the hottest 50 year old I know....DAMN............Good Lord - as they might say in the South "he gives me the vapors" OMG.............MERCY! I hope this doesn't get us removed, but, as I've told him "you might be 50 but you f**k like you're 30." Jesus he's hot.

 

In Jonathan's eyes I see nothing but love, love for life, love for me. I've asked God, being realistic with our respective 45 and 50 years, to please gift us 30, 35, 40 years. I think I deserve that. We deserve that.

 

Anyway, I'm not so sure what you're exactly looking for in a letter, but I'd like to emphasize - "HE'S THE BEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO ME". I love calling him "my husband".

 

In his hands, strength, in his spirit, love, in his eyes - I just get lost in them. I'm VERY Taurus, if you know, I'm very grounded, many would say pragmatic. He on the other hand is super gregarious and outgoing. He gets this Taurus bull out of his pasture, which is not an easy feat. He's a Gemini, and although according to zodiac, we're not supposed to get along so famously, yet we do.

 

In closing, I would like to describe it as how I've explained it to him: "Tu eres la otra media de m alma" "You are the other half of my soul". And, I didn't realize how much of my soul he was until we met; that is to say, I didn't feel like I was "missing" part of my soul, and then, if you recognize it, realize this other person is such a huge chunk of your soul that you didn't realize was missing.

 

We both have agreed "God, I wish I would have met you sooner", but simultaneously, I wouldn't appreciate the gift that is him, 10, 7, 15 years ago. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. In our two photos attached, he's the one with hair. Me? not so much. He tells me "I love your big blue eyes" I might, can, do say the same to him.

 

I love being in love; it's a treasure to me. I sing to him that song from 1969 by Spiral Staircase, "I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow." He then tells me "I love you more".......... Regardless of "win or lose", your wishes that we have MANY years together are very much appreciated. Jonathan is my air.
