Orlando Special Effects provides unique fireworks displays or pyrotechnic performances for weddings as well as other special events

These shows use specific pyrotechnics that are suited perfectly for these smaller venues. The guests can be as close as 200 feet away from the pyrotechnics, making it a very dramatic experience for everyone!  

We provide wedding effects as unique as you are!

5-minute Fireworks Displays including permits and Insurance, but why stop there, 6ft sparkling fountains inside and outside, tikki torches that stand quietly lighting up an outside cocktail but shoot 1ft flaming balls into the air when you say I do. How about having your first dance with swirls of fog around your feet. How about rainbow streamers bursting out and falling from the sky? 

All of our shows include qualified technicians, insurance, permitting, equipment, materials and delivery, plus any required fire watch.

We also offer confetti, rose petals, streamers, sparklers, decorative fire, tiki torches, flame effects, fog and mist effects and more! Let us know how we can make your event spectacular and memorable!

• Fireworks displays last approximately 5 - 15 minutes depending on the budget.
• The effects range from 0 to 200+ feet in the air and include elegant effects such as gold flitters, silver glitters, multi color comets, willows, and brocades.
• We also build custom ground set pieces for your event. Set pieces which are large frames with lances (small flares) of different colors and organized to create flaming letters and shapes, such as a heart with your initials. These burn for about 45 seconds in various colors.

Andy started in entertainment at the age of 16. By 19, he was shooting large fireworks displays for a leading US based fireworks manufacturer. At age 23, he graduated college with a degree in Business Management and Technical Theater. Five years later, after jobs in theater, construction, and fireworks, he moved to Florida and worked for Disney, corporate meeting planners, and on motion picture. He opened Orlando Special Effects in 1989.

Now with over 35 years of experience in the fireworks and entertainment industry he has been appointed a position on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on Special Effects. This committee develops the nationally recognized fire codes for the use of indoor and proximate pyrotechnics as well as flame effects before an audience. He also serves on the Technical Committee on Pyrotechnics, which develops the fire codes for fireworks manufacturing and fireworks displays.
