Welcome to The Louisiana Castle, home of Louisiana's favorite destination wedding venue.... where we make fairy-tales come true!

Louisiana Castle is the premier spot in the south for an All-Inclusive, affordable Wedding and Reception, or for planning any special event. We have our own decorator, on-site catering, florist, D.J., and coordinator. This means you get to sit back, relax, and leave the planning to us! We have an array of Wedding Packages to choose from suiting every Brides' needs. Each standard package comes complete with our beautiful white and silver Castle décor, and you always have the option to upgrade. 

With breathtaking outdoor ceremonies, elegant receptions in our ballroom, and a throne room for those memorable photographs, Louisiana Castle is the ultimate unique venue for couples seeking a wedding filled with fantasy and romance wrapped in one!   

Adding to your enchanted evening, all couples, have the option to add an overnight stay in our Juliet Suite to their package! This makes an already perfect wedding as romantic as it can be! The only exclusion for this option is the Saturday 1:00 pm wedding. (Because the Castle is available for Saturday evening weddings.) Check out our packages to see our list of amenities. (Our elopement packages already include an overnight stay.)

The Wedding Suite, known as the Juliet Suite, occupies the entire top floor of the Castle and is available for the wedding party to prepare for the ceremony. 

The Juliet Suite is always available for the Newlyweds to rent after EVERY Wedding Package with the exception of our Saturday daytime Weddings. (Due to our Saturday night wedding schedule.)  An overnight stay in the Juliet Suite is currently included in our Elopement Packages. When the reception is over, your Royal Court and guests are ushered out and the entire Castle is yours until morning!

About The Louisiana Castle

We purchased The Castle from Dr. Mark Belcher in July of 1999. The Castle was originally Dr. Belcher’s personal residence. He had placed his dream home on the market because he had moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Included below is a letter sent to us by Dr. Belcher describing the planning and construction of the main castle.

We thought The Castle would make a great ceremony and reception venue with the right additions. We added onto the original carport and music room to create the Ballroom. The covered deck, the hot tub, and the commercial bathrooms were constructed. We created the lawns and the grass parking lot near the rear of the ballroom. Additional land was purchased to create the large gravel parking lot in front of Louisiana Castle.

We view Louisiana Castle as a work in progress and are always looking for anything that can be done to improve it. It is our intent to continue to make Louisiana Castle better and better. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
