A stunning backdrop of the rolling fields creates a beautiful private setting to be experienced from both the interior and exterior of The Barn's wood and stone walls. Our venue offers a blend of historic detailing and modern amenities.
The barn, orchard, two getting ready suites provide an effortless setting for weddings and events.
The venue's exposed structure and lofty ceilings establish an airy ambiance, while its expansive doors allow for soft, natural light and a seamless transition to the paver terrace and large deck. Facing into beautiful, tree lined sunsets, Montagu Meadows is the perfect spot to celebrate any extraordinary event.
The original 1800s bank barn sits on a once 11 acre horse farm.
The weathered wood beams tell of its history, and its worn wood adorns the space in a beautifully neutral palette. The century-old barn is rooted to overlook a sea of golden fields in Carroll County, Maryland. Located 30 minutes south of Gettysburg, PA and 50 minutes southwest of Baltimore City, MD.
What's Included
- One wedding reception per weekend--Exclusive use of the property with no other events
- Friday (starting at 4:30 pm) evening access to decorate and rehearse.
- Sunday morning cleanup time (starting at 9 am)
- Two getting ready suites
- Day of Wedding (10 am to 11 pm- music must be turned off by 10 pm)
- 1850's Bank Barn with deck and large patio- ADA accessible
- Farmhouse tables with gold Chiavari chairs for the Barn
- Three Ceremony sites
- Orchard Pond Views Inside and outside of Barn
- White Resin Chairs and arbors for use at the Ceremony Site
- High Top Tables and Jack Daniel Whiskey Barrels
- On-site parking with attendants
- Onsite Venue Manager
- Free access to decorations including vintage furniture and yard games.

We are a seasonal facility. Open May through October!
