Married by Maggie offers many unique wedding packages or we can custom tailor something out of this world just for you and your special someone.

Elopements 

• Elopements are usually planned quickly – spur of the moment or in a few days. Couples who choose an elopement want to keep things simple – but simple does not mean you have to get married in a stark courtroom – you can still be romantic! Do you have a favorite spot meaningful to you both – a park, by the river, a place with a city view? Does getting married at home or in the backyard appeal to you? We will work together to plan a lovely, memorable ceremony. This ceremony includes the couple and up to 4 guests.  

Weddings 

• Weddings are beautiful, festive occasions often accompanied by guests, good food, flowers and music. Regardless of how large or small the wedding, there is one part of the day that is solely about the couple and that’s the wedding ceremony itself. Maggie will listen to you and design a personalized ceremony that reflects you as a couple.

Commitment Ceremonies 

• A wedding ceremony is not the right fit for everyone. There are people who love each other and commit to a shared life together. Let’s discuss how to celebrate that love with a ceremony that honors your unique relationship.  

Vow Renewals 

• After years of marriage, a vow renewal has special significance. We will work together with you to create a celebration that honors the life and love you built together and lays the path for continued joy.  

About Maggie

For over 25 years, I worked with emergency medical services and ambulance providers nationwide. I’ve spoken at hundreds of conferences and written numerous articles to educate EMS personnel. The EMS industry is full of compassionate people devoted to community service and it was a privilege to work with them.

In 2018, a woman I knew from the ambulance industry approached me to ask that I officiate her wedding. I was incredibly honored! She and her partner liked my speaking style. I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I obtained an ordination as a minister through the Universal Life Church, registered with their state, and happily officiated their lovely backyard ceremony. Before I knew it, the word spread among family and friends, and I was able to unite several couples in marriage.  

There is much joy and celebration at a wedding… sometimes a bit of stress too as people plan for this major life event. But the one part of the whole day that is only about the couple and their unique relationship is the ceremony. I want to ease stress and help design the ceremony that best presents each couple’s beautiful love story.

I believe in love and marriage.

I have been fortunate to have been happily married twice. My first husband and I were married for 21 years before he passed away. Time went by. Though I did not expect it, I met a new love and got a second chance at happiness. Life experience has shown me that the path is not always easy but having a partner to take the journey with makes all the difference.

That is why I take joy in helping people celebrate the launch of their life together.
