We are available for travel to your venue and we also have our own micro-wedding venue - The Appalachian Wedding Chapel & Boutique in Capon Bridge, West Virginia!

We support marriage equality and are delighted to perform marriage ceremonies for same or opposite sex couples –  Love belongs to everyone!

We personally write all of our wedding ceremonies and to create a more personalized experience we ask clients to complete a questionnaire.

Your answers to questions such as “what does marriage mean to you”, why do you want to be married to this person”, “what do you love most about each other” and “what are your hopes and dreams for your marriage” are used to help give us some sense of your personalities and wishes for how the ceremony will proceed. Often you will hear your own words echoed back to you in the ceremony itself.  

Sacred Celebrations believes that love belongs to everyone and specializes in spiritual, non-religious, themed, and secular ceremonies, with a favorite being the Celtic Handfasting Ceremony.

Nestled alongside the healing waters of the Cacapon River at Basswood Airbnb, in the quaint town of Capon Bridge, West Virginia, we offer elopement ceremonies and micro-weddings inspired by Appalachian traditions, one of which is our signature Handfasting Ceremony!

Sacred Celebrations has two amazing celebrants to celebrate your most special day

Brenda was ordained through the Church of Spiritual Humanism, is a retired Credentialed Unitarian Universalist Religious Educator and has performed nearly 600 wedding ceremonies.

With a background in poetry and public speaking, and with the presence afforded him through energy medicine, becoming a wedding officiant was a logical, and life-affirming choice for John.
